The NDLCA Content Library is like a handbook for this training, providing additional resources designed to provoke thought and stimulate discussion. As you review the material on your own, consider:
- What are you reading?
- What stands out to you?
- How can you apply this?
We won’t be discussing the content in detail during our sessions—at most, we’ll provide a brief summary. Instead, our focus will be on practicing and applying the concepts live. While it’s not essential, it’s valuable to familiarize yourself with the material. This is about engaging with the ideas and spending more time practicing.
This content library is meant to give you something to reflect on—a foundation for you to build upon:
- What resonates with you?
- What do you disagree with?
- How might you change or adapt this?
In the sessions, we’ll explore how to use these concepts in practice:
- How do you implement this in your work?
- How do you live these principles?
- What does this mean for your day-to-day practice?
Practicalities of the Course
- Session Format and Structure: Each session will last 4 hours, including plenty of breaks. We’ll dedicate time to both practice and discussion. We’ll focus on real-life applications and ensure there’s enough context provided to deepen your understanding in the topics.
- Personal Contemplation: You are encouraged to engage in personal contemplation between sessions. After reviewing the course materials, take time to develop your opinions and think through the concepts on your own. It can also be helpful to consider situations from your own experience that can be used for discussion during the sessions.
- Peer Interaction: We’ll use a WhatsApp group for questions, resource sharing, and other helpful interactions. This platform serves as a community space where you can connect with others in the course.
- Practical Application: In our monthly group sessions, we’ll actively practice integrating nondual principles into our practice. We’ll focus on real situations from your coaching practice to apply these concepts directly.
- Support Resources: The WhatsApp group and the content library are ongoing support resources, acting as a forum and community to help you deepen your understanding of the topics we discuss.
- Technical and Logistical Details: There is one Zoom link for all sessions, which will be shared via email. Please set a recurring reminder in your calendar to ensure you can attend each session.
- Confidentiality and Safe Space: Sessions will be recorded, but these recordings will only be available to course participants. To ensure privacy, no content will be shared outside of our training group without explicit permission from all participants.
- Expectations and Commitment: It’s valuable to read the module materials before the related session. This will help activate your thinking on the subject and allow us to spend more time on practice during the session.
